When the server's score is 0 or an even number, the server serves from the right side and when the server's score is an odd number, he/she serves from the left side. The server continues to serve as long as the server makes no error. When the server commits a fault, and loses the serve, no points are scored, "side-out" is called, and the opponent serves.
