Outfielders can run in and make the catch. Only in force if less than 2 outs and there are runners on either 1st or second or bases loaded. Note - When it seems there will be an infield fly the umpire should immediately announce it for the benefit of the runners. When obstruction occurs, the ball becomes dead at the end of playing action and the umpire has authority to determine which base or bases shall be awarded the runners according to the rule violated
