Sensor - Answer-a device that detects or measures a physical property and records,
indicates, or otherwise responds to it.

Analogue to digital converter (ADC) - Answer-Analogue to Digital converter
Converts analogue data to digital

Digital to analogue converter (DAC) - Answer-Digital to Analogue converter
Converts digital data to analogue

Keyboard - Answer-Has buttons, or keys if you're cool, that you apply small amounts of
pressure to quickly hit notes on 4-7 columns during lessons.

Mousports - Answer-Scans constantly and checks differences between first scan and
second scan to see if changed position. Used to click the circles to the beat.

2D Scanner - Answer-A bright light illuminates the document. It creates a digital image
based on the amount of light reflected back

Barcode Reader - Answer-Reads the light that is reflected from the white areas of the
barcode. This data is turned from analogue to digital and is sent to the microprocessor
to send to the system to check the stored data records if the scanned data matches it.

QR Code Reader - Answer-Read light like a barcode reader, but is in a square format.

Microphone - Answer-A microphone is either built in the device, connected to the USB
port or connected through bluetooth. When a microphone picks up a sound, a
diaphragm vibrates which produces an electric signal. This signal goes to a sound card
and is converted to digital data and stored in the computer.

Loud Speaker - Answer-Data is converted to analogue with a DAC, then passed
through an amplifier. Finally, a sound emerges from this device.

Monitor Display - Answer-Liquid Crystal Display and Light Emitting Diode.

3D Printer - Answer-Used in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and can produce solid
objects which actually work. The object is built up layer by layer using materials such as
powered metal, paper or ceramic powder.
