My Personal Classroom Management Plan
Professionalism
To me, being a great teacher means leading by example and providing a positive role
model for the class. Being able to reliably show up to work ready to educate scholars is another
crucial component of the professional educator's role. Competently instructing is not the same
as being professional in the workplace. Respect for my colleagues, my scholars, as well as their
families is essential if I am to succeed as an educator. The effective educator models empathy
and respect for students' social relationships outside of the classroom. As a teacher, I will treat
all of my students with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or socioeconomic
status. I will also be aware that my scholars will not all acquire knowledge in the same manner,
and it will become my responsibility to accommodate as many learning styles as possible. I
want to be a good teacher because I care about my students and want them to succeed in life.
My ability to communicate with people is another one of my strengths. My strengths in these
areas will serve me well as a teacher. I want to create an environment where my students feel
comfortable speaking their minds. I need to have meaningful conversations with my students'
families if they are going to thrive in my classroom and at home. Cooperating with classmates
to academically progress shared goals is beneficial to everyone involved. My goal as a teacher
is to earn the respect of my children and their families by showing them kindness and
consideration at all times.
Student Engagement Strategies
Procedures in the classroom and student engagement play a major role in encouraging
students to find their own sources of motivation, and teachers should work to create a
welcoming environment for all students. As a teacher, it is my responsibility to help my
