• The example of the tandem schedule cited in the Jeffries et al. (2016) study on p.
318 can benefit from some clarification. A tandem schedule was not used in the
original publication. However, an example of a tandem schedule would be if the
individual had to first complete an FR 4 schedule and then complete an FR 1
before accessing the iPad®.
• P. 319, table 13.1, the example for tandem schedule is incorrect. It indicates that
reinforcement is earned after each component is met, however, in a tandem
schedule, the reinforcer follows the completion of both component schedules.
