1. Jou naam draai ek uit elke appelstingel,
(I twist your name from the stem of an appel)
2. pak dit in spoelklippies op die strand.
(I spel your name with pebbles in the sand)
3. Ek vinger jou naam op vuil motorvensters,
(I write your name with my finger on dirty car windows)
4. toegewasemde spieëls en oor die palm van my hand.
