When do you use and how do you properly secure a conveyor?  When: BMW! Anytime you need to get on the belt: B= break a jam, M= move a diverter, W= walk on the belt. How: push the red button in, pull latch out and over button to secure it in its position. Once a belt has been secured, who can un-secure the belt?  ONLY the person who secures the belt is the same person who removes the securing device. When can you lock out equipment?  Never! If non-yard certified-What are the 3 rules you must follow?  DDD: D= Designated pedestrian walkways, D= designated pedestrian doorways, and D= designated pedestrian break areas.
