What are some of the requirements per NFPA 1901 for a MWS? Correct-A MWS apparatus
should be equipped with at least one external fill connection that
- Allows the tank to be filled at a minimum rate of 1000 gpm.
- Is equipped with a valve, strainer, and a 30 degree elbow.
- Has valves of slow-closing design (if three inches or longer)
Large tank discharge, a MWS should be equipped with a tank discharge on the left, right and
