Introductory: I am doing a presentation about the nature and the U.S. healthcare system. Some people can afford there on coverage and insurance. Other people have government healthcare coverage, like medicare, medicaid, or medicare supplemental plans, and private health care coverage. The health care system in the U.S. is rapidly changing each year. The U.S. health care system according to the article by Jennifer, "The U.S. health care system is unique among advanced industrialized countries. The U.S. does not have a uniform health care system, has no universal health care coverage, and recent legislation mandating coverage is not yet fully implemented. Rather than operating a national health insurance system, or a single-payer national health insurance services, or a multi-payer universal health insurance fund, the U.S. health care system can best be described as a hybrid system. For example, in 2010 50 percent of the U.S. health care spending came from federal funds and 12 percent from state and local funds. Most health care, even if publicly financed is delivered privately, (Jennifer, June 2014).
