1. If a baby is born with imperfections then the baby will be killed. 2. If a father wishes to disown
his son he must sell his son three times. 3. If a child is born after the death of his/her father the
father will not be legally granted as the guardian. - ANS-Table 4: 1. A dreadfully deformed child
shall be quickly killed. 2. If a father sells his son three times the son shall be free from his father.
3. A child born after ten months since the father's death will not be admitted into a legal
inheritance
1. When a man's land lies adjacent to the highway, he can enclose it any way that he chooses,
but if he neglects to do so, any other person can drive an animal over the land wherever he
pleases.
2. Should a tree on a neighbor's farm be bent crooked by the wind and lean over your farm, you
may take legal action for removal of that tree. 3. If it's your tree, it's your fruit, even if it falls on
another man's land. - ANS-Table 7: 1. Let them keep the road in order. If they have not paved it,
a man may drive his team where he likes. 2. Should a tree on a neighbor's farm be bent crooked
by the wind and lean over your farm, you may take legal action for removal of that tree. 3. A
man might gather up fruit that was falling down onto another man's farm.
After dying, Bodies should not be buried or cremated within the city. Women are not allowed to
cry and scream at funerals, if the deceased individual earned a crown they may be buried with it
or it can be given to their parents. - ANS-Table 10: None is to bury or burn a corpse in the city.
The women shall not tear their faces nor wail on account of the funeral. If one obtains a crown
because of his honor and valor, if it is placed on his head, or the head of his parents, it shall be
no crime.
Basically if someone dies they write a will saying what they want done with all of their assets
(money, property, etc). If there is no will then the items will be given to their children or spouse. If
there are no spouse or children then will be given to extended family (parents, brothers, sisters,
aunts, uncles, etc.) - ANS-Table 5: As a man has provided in his will in regard to his money and
the care of his property, so let it be binding. If he has no heir and dies, let the nearest male
kinsmen have the inheritance. If there is no male kinsman, let the members of his extended
family have the inheritance. If one is mad but has no guardian, the power over him and his
money shall belong to his male kinsmen and the members of his extended family.
If a judge or person that has a job of determining if someone is guilty or innocent has been
receiving money from one of the parties involved in order to make the decision of being guilty or
not will be put to death. - ANS-Table 9: The penalty shall be death for a judge or authority legally
appointed who has been found guilty of receiving a bribe for giving a decision.
