From completing, looking and analysing numerous official IEB past papers (as well as their memos), I have formulated short simple notes that anyone can apply to any English Paper 1. These are my notes on the Language and correction of errors section for IEB English Paper 1. This document includes everything you need for that 10 mark language section at the end of the paper. It has every possible error with regards to positioning of words in sentences, correct use of grammar and correct use of punctuation. I would highly recommend these notes for those of us who have no idea of how to study for an English Paper 1 or those of us that have never understood what the markers are looking for in our answers to get all the marks.
