A. Problem Statement
Customer tracking ability is a critical component to the success of any organization, as well as the ability
to grow that customer base. This component can be difficult to track without the use of a streamlined approach
that is available, scalable, and affordable. This project will put the appropriate focus on the tracking of relevant
customer information and maintaining good relationships with them and will also free up valuable time to allow
focus on other departmental functions. By reducing the manual labor process that is currently associated with
their operations using an automated software approach, we free up valuable human resources and gain the ability
to reallocate that time to other necessary business functions.
Currently, a single employee is responsible for all facets of the business commerce. With so much time
being dedicated to business commerce, an immediate lack of customer contact and marketing is prevalent and
decreases the overall level of customer satisfaction. Implementing a solution to help alleviate this is relatively
simple. Acquiring and using customer tracking software and hiring a part time employee who’s only role is to
market Jaunty Coffee Co to the local community are the only capital expenses related to the
