-simplify the question and ask it again (make them aware of how they got the answer)
Presenting facts without the pressure/ expectation that they get it correct (quiz to follow) increases
likelihood of understanding. - ANSWER Be aware of the expectations you give off through body language
#3) Fall back on prerequisite knowledge when a student is having trouble. Extend knowledge when a
student understands the concept. - ANSWER Go beyond the literal exercises on the page to provide a
broader, more enriching experience. Ex: If the worksheet asks a student to count from 1 to 10, ask them
to count from 0 to 12.
