, QUESTION 1

1. Explain in your own words, in one paragraph, what the following
concepts mean.

1.1. Social learning. (5)

Social learning could be explained as the general understanding of the process
whereby human beings acquire their behavior patterns through the interventions of
their psychological, Behavioural, and environmental factors over time. This theory
suggests that people behave and change through something referred to as
reciprocal determinism; the individual’s environment and behaviour change in a
cycle. This concept underlines the fact that behaviour is not only a functional and
psychological phenomenon, but also a social one which is formed depending on the
impact of behaviour which one subject meets or encounters.

1.2. Professionalism. (5)

Professionalism is a way of handling duties and presenting oneself in a certain way
that defines a profession. It refers to the ability to produce complete, accurate, and
reliable work, act professionally, and follow the right standard as one is discharging
his or her duties. Professionalism includes behaviors, technical content, and
personal conduct in specific tasks, and wider social relationships that derive from a
person’s occupation. This entails embracing academic integrity, professionalism in
matters of professional conduct as well as not engaging in acts and behaviors that
are unbecoming of a professional. Finally, professionalism guarantees that any
person who works in a certain field makes a positive impact in as much as they are
responsible for the confidence clients, or the public has in them and the work they
do.

1.3. Ethical culture. (5)

Ethical culture is the focus on unquestioned standards of behaviour, norms, and
attitudes that define ethical issues in the business organization or society. It
embodies the practices that govern activities and relations, including professionalism
