Die ligging van DNS in die sel
→ Die kern van eukariotiese selle bevat DNA in die vorm van chromosome.
→ Die genetiese materiaal in die vorm van gene word deur chromosome gedra.
→ Behalwe tydens seldeling, verskyn chromosome in die kern as lang, ineengestrengelde drade.
