The executive branch of government is responsible for enforcing and carrying ou t laws. The judicial branch of government interprets legislation and assesses wh ether they are constitutional. US Congress - ANSWER The name for the United States' bicameral legislature, which consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The name for th e legislative branch of the United States government.
