For P4 however, you need to explain the benefits and opportunities for businesses using internet marketing within the marketing mix using an example of a business (Amazon in this document). For M1, you need to analyse the benefits of using internet marketing for both customers and businesses.

P3 - Explain the benefits to customers of a business using internet marketing.
Internet Marketing is a simple way for customers to access and purchase their products. Internet
Marketing has benefits to both businesses and customers but in this case, I will be discussing the
benefits of customers using Internet Marketing.

Fast and Efficient
One benefit to customers of a business using Internet Marketing is that it is faster and efficient for
customers to purchase products. This is because the Internet is easily accessible to customers if they
have an internet connection and they can access a business’s website within an instant. As well as
this, customers can easily complete transactions as customers can just click to order the product that
they want, which is then dispatched and then the customers must wait for it to be delivered.
Because of this, customers will be satisfied as they’re easily receiving their products via Internet
Marketing quickly. However, the benefit to an extent will depend on what type of customers have
internet access. This is because some types of customers such as the elderly are most likely to have
access to the internet or they don’t even use the internet. Therefore, it would be useless for some
customers to use the Internet.

Cost Effective
Another benefit to customers of a business using Internet Marketing is that it is cost effective. This is
because it is cheaper for customers to purchase products online rather than in a business’s retail
store. For instance, some businesses tend to use the dynamic pricing strategy to make their products
offered to customers for a cheaper price online, which would therefore attract customers to
purchase products online. As a result of this, customers will increase their satisfaction with internet
marketing, persuading them to purchase products online more often. However, the benefit to an
extent will depend on the actual price of a business’s product that they set online. This is because if
their products are expensive in their retail stores but only a little amount cheaper online, then
customers are not going to benefit from it as they would see it as no difference between purchasing
from online and purchasing it in a retail store, therefore customers will be buying a business’s
product for the same price anyway.

Easy to keep up to date with information
Furthermore, customers benefit from using Internet Marketing because they can keep up to date of
prices of a business’s products. For instance, customers can compare different prices of the same
product that other businesses are cheaper, so if there is a business that is selling the same product
as another business but cheaper, then customers will want to go ahead and purchase the product
with the cheaper price. As a result of this, customers will be satisfied with Internet marketing as they
have the right to decide what product they want and what they primarily want is a cheap and
affordable price.

Customers can check and compare prices of competitors
As well as this, customers can benefit from Internet Marketing because they can check from other
customers whether the product that they want is useful or worth buying or not. For example, if a
customer was to submit a review of a product and they were giving a bad review with negative
comments, then other customers would end up deciding not to purchase the product. Although, if
most customers were submitting positive reviews of a product, then other customers would approve
and want to purchase the product. This is beneficial to customers because then they will be able to
