• This presentation will include the identification of rights and
responsibilities of the employer and employees within British Airw
Along with the analysis of rights and responsibilities of the employe

• It is an employer's duty to protect the health, safety and welfare o
their employees and other people who might be affected by their
business.1 Employers responsibilities and Employee rights are very
important in a work place as it can effect the day to day functioning

• Employment Act 2002 contained new rules on maternity, paternity and
adoption leave and pay, and changes to the Tribunal system in the United
Kingdom.1
• The Employment act needs to be followed by all businesses because all
employees in a work place have the right to be given theses things if require
• Women get 26 week paid maternity leave and men have 2 weeks of paternit
leave which they can take to be at home with their child and partner
• For example employees at British Airways will need to make sure that they a
providing their employees with these rights when they require it. British
