466.001- Legislative Purpose and Intent (Purpose of the law) - Ensure that every dentist

can only recommend fl and chlorhexidine, not prescribe it.
-Some pts will not buy chlorhexidine or fl at a dental office (typically due to cost). The
dentist may write a prescription for the pharmacy to dispense it for the pt.
