, Ideology & ethics
South Africa has a rich history, a lot of thing happened in that country. I think the most
famous person that is from SA is Nelson Mandela; he was the person that stood up for
the black people and fought against discrimination. The habitants of SA are very proud
of him and still honor him. SA is a country with a lot of different people living there; of
course the original people from SA then there are the Dutch people that governed there
for a long time and the British people who played an important role in the role of the SA
history. Because of the rich history they also have a lot of different cultures, languages
and religions.
Pestle:
Political
The president of SA, serves both; as president of state and as president of the
government. The ANC (African National Congress) has dominated SA’s politics. The
general elections take place every 5 years; currently the president of SA is Jacob Zuma.
The constitution’s bill of rights provides extensive guarantees including: equality before
the law, prohibitions against discrimination, the right to life, privacy, property and
freedom, prohibition against slavery and forced labor and freedom of speech, religion,
assembly and association.

Economic
The economy of SA is the second largest in Africa. This is because all of the following
points that once were a big problem in SA have been taken care of; high levels of
unemployment, income inequality, growing public debt, political mismanagement, low
levels of education, reliable access to electricity and crime. SA was found to have the
second most sophisticated financial market and the second lowest effective business tax
rate. In 2011, after a year of observer status, SA officially joined BRICS group of now
five emerging market nations at the summit held in Sanya, Hainan and China.

Social
The population of SA is about 50 million people. the people living in SA are white
colored, black, Indian and Asian. There are 11 spoken languages in SA, this is one of
the most on the whole world. The cuisine of SA is heavily meat based and has spawned
the distinctively South African social gathering known as a braai, or barbecue. The GDP
of the country is 323.809 billion dollars. The GDP growth is 0.7%, the unemployment
rate is 25.1%. the agricultural industry’s contribution to the economy is relatively small,
providing just 13.3% of jobs and 15% of the GDP.
