In this task I will be looking at how the internet marketing is benefiting the customers of a
company.
Product information
Every online website is offering information about the products and the services they have
in their company, which is a part of their internet marketing strategy. Companies are
offering different useful information about their products such as level of stock, variety,
sizes, colours etc., which is beneficial for the customers as they can get clear idea of the
products and service of the company and develop
their knowledge of the products of the company.
This is beneficial for the clients as it will be easier
for them to decide what they want to buy as they
have read the product information in the website
and they are better aware of the products. For
example, on Nike’s website, the customer can
select the product and underneath they will find a
section with useful information about the product,
such as material, features, benefits, origins of
product, which is very useful information for the
customers as it will help them to make a decision
whether to buy a specific product or not.
Moreover, Nike is clearly showing all the colours
and sizes they have available in stock.
Comparing and selecting
The online marketing is allowing customers to compare the prices of the products or
services between different products or between different websites, which means that the
customers are able to compare different prices of the same products which is very beneficial
for them as they will be able to find the best value for them and the cheapest prices. It is an
advantage for the customers as they will get the opportunity to get the cheapest prices, as
they will be able to use the websites of the companies to compare prices. For example,
British Airways has an option in their websites find the cheapest fares in the websites, so
that the customers can get the best possible deal in the websites. Also, the customers can
compare British Airways with other companies such as EasyJet, WizzAir etc., which will
benefit he clients as they will get the most suitable and affordable deal for them.
Furthermore, the websites and the social media of the
companies can be used by the customers to read reviews
about products and experiences. The online reviews will
benefit the customers and they will be able to read honest and
clear options of other clients and decide whether the products
or services will be suitable for them and if they are going to like
it. The reviews will benefit the customers as they will know
whether is worth it for them to spend money on something or
not. For example, on Nike website, the customers can find
reviews of every product when they click on it. Also, the
