INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND: -agency founded in 1944 to help restore financial order in Europe and the rest of the world, to revive international trade, and to support the financial concerns of Third World governments. WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION: -health institution that was created because it could combat outbreaks effectively to prevent spreading WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION: -an international organization based in Geneva that monitors and enforces rules governing global trade. Weapons of Mass Destruction. nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons that can kill tens of thousands of people all at once.
