As the coronavirus pandemic is very much affecting health and safety guidance and legislation, it is
important that you include current examples as part of your answer.



1.1 Identify legislation in relation to health and safety in a learning environment:

both learners and staff. Some of the prominent legislations include:


a) Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HSWA):
This is a key legislation that affects the management of health and safety in all organisations
