Usurper When someone takes control or power of the throne illegally. This person basically establishes the entire empire to his own often by brute force and seizing often all power. Regency The reign and act of someone being apointed to rule a sate because the person in power is missing, a minor, or is incapacitated. Act of Settlement States that the next heirs to the English and Irish throne must be limited to protestants only (1701) Succession to the Crown Act Altered the succession of the english throne according to the laws stated in the perth agreement Perth Agreement An agreement made by commonwealth nations in Australia in 2011 with the objective of changing the male-preference primogeniture with absolute primogeniture Triumvirates A group of three leaders sharing power. Happened mainly in Ancient Rome First Triumvirate Julius caesar shared the throne with Pompeius Magnus and Marcus Licinius Crassus from the years 60 to 54 BC with the intention of bringing order over Rome. Ended when Licinius was killed in 53 BC during a battle against the Parthians hoping he could conquer Parthia (because of the wealth it had in store).
