Steris AER Peracetic Acid - Answer-Not all endoscopes are able to be processed in an AER Ex. Bronchovideoscope And, not all endoscopes have internal channels to perform the "special connector flow ports" nasopharyngoscope.Yes, Peracetic Acid most popular, however, Glute or OPA may be a possible alternative approval. Steris AER Peracetic Acid - Answer-*Glutaraldehyde having a ceiling threshold of .05ppm Threshold (defined) - the magnitude or intensity that must be exceeded for a certain reaction, result, or condition to occur or be manifested. Not recommended/good for: cancer pt.'s On to Accessories - Answer-Bx Forceps - are used to obtain specimens from the patient; therefore are considered critical devices. Water Bottles - & their tubing must be cleaned daily and HLD or sterilized. Polypectomy snare - Answer-Polypectomy snare - these are available in many shapes, sizes, and materials...they can be disposable and micht be designed w/special features used for removing polyps.
