This portfolio was created to evaluate the internship that student Wouter Verburgt completed in the European office of the
international company, called Road Rebel. The goal of this portfolio is to provide a general overview and evidence, in the form of a
collection of pertinent documents, of how the student has developed professional behavior and put his knowledge into practice.
The leading travel management firm with a focus on TV/film, sports, and live performances is called Road Rebel Bv. In 1998, it was
established in the USA and not so long ago opened a location in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. All travel and lodging requirements are
handled by Road Rebel during the stay of a client. These clients are mainly companies since Road Rebel is focused on B2B. The
entertainment business is the primary area of expertise for Road Rebel Europe. Supporting both live events like Cirque du Soleil and
television and film productions that are filmed everywhere throughout Europe.
There are 80 employees overall at Road Rebel Bv, 12 of them are assigned to the Europe team. In addition to growing, Road Rebel
intends to establish a presence in Asia. As a Sales Intern, I am accountable for a variety of activities supporting business sales and
achieving quarterly and annual goals while working under the direction of Ms. Sarah Bennett, Director of Europe. Prospective customer
outreach, lead generation, CRM system updates, idea generation for new business, client relationship management, and marketing and
sales research are just a few of the activities that are included.
