4. Introduction to R - basic statistical analysis

This session teaches you how to perform basic statistical analysis and a little bit of theory. The two main parts are 1) Standard deviations; how to with and without creating an object and then 2) Random samples and Type I errors; how to generate random data and how to manipulate it, what constitutes an error and so forth. Functions covered: sd() and how to use it as well as sqrt() multiplication operator (*) how to simulate sample data using runif() how to perform a t-test and the different kinds of t-tests using t.test() how to create your own function using function() how to create a matrix and why using as.matrix() how to manipulate your function LINK TO DATA IS PROVIDED There are also about 13 questions (answers are supplied at the end)
