Capitalization Is the use of capital letters to place special emphasis on particular letters to set them off from lower-case letters. Punctuation is the use of periods, commas, semicolons, colons, question marks, exclamation points, dashes, apostrophes, brackets, parentheses, slashes, and quotation marks.
