Summary Chapter 24 - Reactions of Inorganic Compounds in Aqueous Solutions
I got an A* in my chemistry A-Level using the notes that I have uploaded and I am currently studying chemistry at the University of Birmingham. These revision notes include the observations and equations for the following reactions of aqueous iron(II): adding NaOH in excess, adding NaOH then sulphuric acid, adding sodium carbonate, and adding dilute ammonia. Also, the observations and equations for the following reactions of aqueous iron(III): dissolving in water, dissolving in water and adding concentrated nitric acid, dissolving in water and adding NaOH, adding sodium carbonate. Other information included are how to experimentally distinguish iron ions, reactions of aluminium(III) and ligand substitution reactions for aqueous copper(II) and aqueous cobalt(II).
