Mainland is a South Africa-based wine company in Cape Town. The company is owned by Mr Mazibuko and
his two sons, William, who is the HR director, and Sam, who is the head of sales. The business has been
operating for over 10 years and supplies several types of wine to different provinces in the country. During
the early stages of building the business, Mr Mazibuko and his sons took on all the roles and
responsibilities, such as the farming of the grapes, harvesting, wine production, bottling and sales. A few
years ago, the sales at Mainland picked up significantly and Mr Mazibuko and his sons had to employ more
people in the company.
