Methods I will use:
Social Media- Becoming a mainstream source of communication and practically
everyone has access to it so will be very useful to spread information about
campaign. Specific social media sites will be Twitter, Instagram
Merchandise- If more people buy merchandise, a knock-on effect will occur as
people will notice and become intrigued. It will also act as a method to balance
financing
Posters and leaflets- Easy and can be affordable if done correctly and find the
right suppliers
Materials to be used:
Merchandise- Creating the merch to be sold t-shirts/hoodies, symbolic
scarf/pin, phone cases
Social Media account- Creating Twitter and Instagram account
Posters and leaflets- Designing eye catching posters which grab attention
Finances:
Vistaprint charges £57.99 for 1000 A3 Posters
Prodigi charges £10 for one phone case, as a starting point 100 phone cases=
£1000
Therefore, materials will range from a cost of £1000-£1500. It is also worth
mentioning other types of merchandise that will be available but as a starting
point: phone cases and leaflets/posters are my main priority. I will fund this by
taking a loan from the Princes Trust as well as contact other larger campaigns
to hopefully receive some support; I will then use bake sales and raffles to
generate a steady income and gain support from the beginning. Funding will
then be generated through a long-term scheme of donation as well as
branching out to more types of merchandise
