Supervise ^^^Step 8 occurs throughout the process^^^ Define WARNO, OPORD, and FRAGO - OPORD = Operations Order - a directive issued by a commander to subordinate commanders for the purpose of effecting the coordinated execution of an operation. WARNO = Warning Order - a preliminary notice of an order or action that is to follow. A WARNO will follow the 5 paragraph OPORD format. FRAGO = Fragmentary Order - an abbreviated form of an operation order issued as needed after an operation order to change or modify that order or to execute a branch or sequel to that order. METT-TC - M- Mission E- Enemy T- Terrain T- Troops T- Time C- Civilian Classifications of Terrain - - UNRESTRICTED: Indicates terrain free of constraints to movement. Nothing needs to be done to enhance mobility. -RESTRICTED: Hinders movement to some degree. Little effort is needed to enhance mobility but units are unable to move at desired speeds or combat formations. -SEVERELY RESTRICTED: Hinders or slows movement in combat formations unless some effort is made to enhance mobility (i.e. Engineer Assets). The 5 W's - (Step 3: Make a tentative plan) who, what, where, when, and why Makes up the the Mission Statement and will contain the mission essential task. OPORD Paragraph 1 - 1.
