1. How can you be an asset in the school/ what duties
or responsibilities will you carry out as a teacher in
our school ?
Ans:
I would prepare lessons;
Help student apply concepts through classroom instruction and
presentations;
Prepare exam papers;
Manage classroom;
Manage stakeholders;
Work closely with school staff, collaborate with other teachers;
Oversee all students within the school setting to ensure a safe academic
environment conducive to learning and maintain the professional image
and enable the success of student academic achievement through
implementation of the school curriculum and philosophy and through the
consistent use of the school systems.
2. What are the policy documents that guide teachers?
Ans: These are examples of the main and common docs: PAM document,
CAPS; NPA, NPPPR ( More documents can be found on the websites

3. How do you deal with an advanced or fast learning
learner?
Ans: Give them high order questions and more work make sure they are
always busy.

5. How can you be an asset to a school outside of
academics?
Ans: I would participate in sports activities and board games basically extra
mural activities as this strengthens healthy relations with my colleagues
6. What is your teaching philosophy?
Ans: I am a learner centered educator, I do understand that every learner
learns differently, my classroom has a combination of these elements for
example music, pictures, reading and writing visuals, technology( PC, Smart
board, audio recorder). I will include methods like debating, activity-based
projects, problem-solving games, etc in the curriculum through which students
can explore their intellect. I am aware of my learners strengths and
weaknesses and I constantly find opportunities to help them improve and
challenge them because I will have higher and lower level students.
Also, what is prevalent in my classroom will be rules,classroom culture
implementation e.g. be kind, respect one another, keep the classroom tidy
visual aids, reward systems, charts, pic.
7. What are your strengths?
Ans: Your answer has to be an honest opinion of yourself and how you view
yourself in the work environment.
8. Why would you like to work for our school?
Ans: Research about the school, search what they're looking for, what could
be of benefit to you should you work in the school?
9. What makes your classroom different?
Ans: The subject is accordance to the subject you're teaching. Example of an
answer: My classroom has posters, charts, academic writing on the board, a
corner of a shelve with shelves/magazines.
