What is the comp to breath ratio for children? - ANSWER-1 rescuer 30:2 2 rescuers 15:2 1-rescuer unwitnessed child arrest - ANSWER-5 cycles CPR before leaving to AER(pump O2 to brain before you leave) Witnessed child arrest - ANSWER-Immediately AER get AED perform CPR Child arrest: if there is no normal breathing but the victim has a pulse.. - ANSWER-Rescue breath: 1 breath q3-5 sec or about 12-20/min. Comp if the pulse remains less than 60 with signs of poor perfusion. Check pulse q2min while rescue breathing.
