, Introduction
Throughout my individual report, I shall be developing the effective team skills through the practical
activities. I will demonstrate my ability as both the team leader and as the team member by
becoming more involved through active participation within my team as the main and prominent
member of the group. I will also reflect upon whether or not I was effective during the team’s
activities by using my constructive feedback to help plan any improvements of my own performance
thus far within SCCA’s team. I will work effectively as a team member and as a team leader by using
the feedback given to me in order to assess how the conflict within my team would be managed in
an efficient and effective manner. I will also demonstrate some key factors such as initiative, self-
management and creativity during the professional development of SCCA’s team skills as a whole.

1. Explain the purpose of your team and what your goals are. What
type of team are you?
The main purpose of my team was to help my business (SCCA) to become more able to achieve their
business’s goals, their aims and their smart objectives in the future. An example of SCCA’s goals
were to increase their net profit margin by a set percentage because, this can potentially help SCCA
to become a larger and a more international business than before previously. I was an active team
member who was a part of a team which enabled me and my team members to work together as a
more democratic styled of management style; leadership function. If SCCA decided to use my
