The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate the teachers’ role and
significance in the learners’ life. Also, to define Life Orientation and outline its
importance in the education curriculum and the learners’ life (University of
South Africa, 2009)

teaching Life Orientation in detail are:

 To guide learners to achieve their full physical, intellectual, personal,
emotional and social potential;

 To teach learners to exercise their constitutional rights and
