NB: If you do not submit Assignment 01, you will forfeit the marks for the
assignment. There will be no other submission opportunities. Note that only the
instructions for this assignment are given here since the assignment questions will be
randomised per student when they are completed online. You must look for the date
on which the Assignment 01 submission system opens on myUnisa (two weeks before
the due date) and then complete the multiple-choice questions online.

This multiple-choice-question assignment will count towards your final mark. The purpose
of the assignment is to familiarise you with the content of the study guide for CSP2601 –
do not consult other sources since all the answers are in the study guide. You should work
independently (in other words, you should work on your own; do not compare your
answers with those of members of a study group or request assistance from a lecturer).
This assignment consists of 25 questions. Each question counts two marks. Complete the
assignment on myUnisa. Make sure the assignment is finalised and submitted on myUnisa
before the submission date since it will be marked by computer. No late submissions are
possible under any circumstances. Once the system has closed after the due date for
online submissions via myUnisa, you will not be able to submit your
