What is development
Development is a process of change that affects peoples lives. It may involve improvement in th
life as perceived by the people undergoing change(social). Or it may involve the economic gro
country. Development measures how economically, socially, culturally or technologically advan
country is. The aspects that can be measured as economic and social development.
Absolute poverty à The people who do not have enough money to buy basic necessities of life
food, clothing and shelter. UN describes this as living on less than $2 a day.
