o Bts respect the right of the individual to do what they wish with their life – state of
mind at death affects rebirth so better to die peacefully as benefits future
consciousness

o One belief is that Christians would say it’s ok as Jesus ate meat in the feeding of

precept and causes dukkha to animals which is unskilful action.

o Polluting the earth is wrong because it goes against the first moral precept in the
sense that we are killing and harming animals when the Buddha said ‘do not kill’
without increase in Co2 emissions and climate change
o It is also disrespectful to God as we are not showing our stewardship that he gave
us. He told Ada, in the garden of Eden to ‘work it and take care of it’ and we are
destroying the planet that we have effectively loaned from God

such as rape or If the child is deemed to be deformed and or disabled and or
have a poor quality of life and this is decided by 2 doctors
