Unconscious processes are centrally related to current behavior,” (Corey, 2017, p. 433).  Psychodynamic Therapy – Shortened version on psychoanalytic, this therapy does not include all the classic therapeutic processes of psychoanalytic therapy but does require the therapist stay alert for integration of more of the psychoanalytic techniques that may need to be utilized. The client males a commitment to change in their current life and is asked to refrain from any major changes before the process is complete (Corey, 2017).
