How does foreign trained pharmacist become pharmacist - must complete the foreign
pharmacy graduate examination committee certification (FPGEC) by passing the
Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) and the Test of English
as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Once certification is obtained individual must
complete the states internship hours
Technician Registration, Technician Licensure and Technician Certification -
Registration with the state board to ensure applicant is not a convicted of a felony or
misdemeanor
Licensure: more involved then registration and may include requirements of work
experience, examination and education such as technician training program
Certification: allows technicians more expanded role, limited patient care activities
taking med hx, receiving new written or electronic Rx are some examples

Reinstatement - Licenses that lapsed was suspended or revoked is returned to active
status authorizing practice as defined by that license
What are the most common causes of disciplinary action - impairment, drug theft and
drug diversion?

must be present along with specifics about product's activity
