ETHICAL DILEMMA

Dilemma An ethical dilemma is a problem that puts a decision maker in a compromising situation where he/she has to choose between two available options, especially when both of them are equally unethical (Schwartz, 2017). Most ethical problems often come with straight forward solutions. However, ethical dilemmas are usually complicated and difficult to solve since they are left to choose the lesser evil. Ethical dilemmas are critical in the professional world, especially for top-level decision- makers. Most organizations have their ethical standards and code of conduct. Violation of the set standards may lead to disciplinary action (Schwartz, 2017). Ethical dilemmas in the professional world include the relationship with clients, management, business partners, and co-workers.
