According to the CAPS, Creative Arts, there are three main topics in
Visual Art:

1. Drawing and Painting:
In this topic, Grade 4 students will learn the fundamentals of drawing
and painting. They will explore various drawing techniques such as
shading, cross-hatching, and stippling. Students will learn how to use
different materials, including pencils, charcoal, and watercolours.
They will experiment with colour mixing and explore different
painting styles and techniques. This topic aims to develop students'

through the practice of drawing and painting.

2. Printmaking:
In the printmaking topic, Grade 4 students will study the process of
printmaking. They will learn about various printmaking techniques
