o Is bewus van veranderende besigheidsomgewing en verstaan hoe om om
besigheidsdoelwitte te bereik.
 Kommunikeer doeltreffend deur geskikte kommunikasiekanale daar te stel.
o Het goeie luister vaardighede.
 Moitveer mense.
o Het goeie mensvaardighede en 'n begrip van die behoeftes van personeel en wat
hulle motiveer.
 Stel 'n voorbeeld wat ander kan volg.
o Behandel mense met respek.
 Moedig doeltreffende spanwerk aan deur saamhorigheid (Saam te werk verdra- geduld) en
'n omgewing van wedersydse vertroue en verdraagsaamheid te skep.
o Bestuur en los konflik op.

 Die vermoë van 'n individu of 'n groep individue om volgelinge of ander lede van 'n
organisasie te beïnvloed en te lei
 Leierskap is inspirerende ondergeskiktes om te presteer ten einde doelwitte te bereik
 Dit kan nie geleer word nie, hoewel dit aangeleer kan word omdat dit 'n ingebore eienskap is
 Behels die vestiging van 'n duidelike visie en dit met ander te deel sodat hulle gewillig kan

doelwitte te bereik.
 'n Persoon word bestuurder as gevolg van die pos waarin hy / sy aangestel word
 Bestuurders het mag weens die gesagsposisie waarin hulle aangestel word.
