Crime scene investigation

Crime scene investigators (CSIs) take specific approaches depending on
the circumstances they encounter at a crime scene.[1] There is a difference
in forensic approach between a volume crime scene and a major crime
scene. Processes are, however, mostly similar. As part of the formal
forensic response in serious or major cases, a forensic manager
collaborates with, and agrees with, the senior investigating officer on a
forensic response strategy. This strategy consists of:[1]

 Establishing the scene's dimensions and identifying health, safety,
and security issues
 Keeping in touch with the relevant personnel and coordinating their
activities
 The initial walk-through of the scene identifies key areas of interest
 Recording and documenting the scene at every stage of the
examination
 Using appropriate specialists and techniques, recovering and
recording material of interest
 Taking a second look at the scene and reviewing it

The simulated crime scene:

During the lesson the teacher had to leave the class to collect some
materials for the lesson. However, when it came back, he found the
student agitated. When asking what happed he saw the body. The
security team of the college was called, which they called 999 for
ambulance and police.

When the police and the ambulance came the police regrouped the 15
students in separate rooms and the paramedics attended the student on
the floor. However, the paramedics pronounced the death of the victim.

The classroom became a crime scene.

The police secured the room to ensure that no more contamination of the
scene happens. And the SOCO is called to the scene.
