Relative Truth The belief that truth is relative to a certain perception; therefore, in this view, truth is derived only within one's frame of reference. Theodicy The Christian defense of God's infinite goodness and power despite the presence of evil and suffering. Metanarrative The overarching story and theme of God's redemptive work in history that is carried throughout all the stories within the Bible.
