Resources are available to help nurses develop that identity such as the learning the roles of a nurse in the Professional Nursing Program at Rasmussen College, the scopes of practice for nurses, and the standards for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN). All these things can help allow a nurse to define themselves in their workplace. This identity can help shape a person into who they desire to be professionally The Professional Nursing Program (ADN) at Rasmussen College is different from other nursing programs both within Rasmussen and at other colleges.
