Introduction:
● Define key words (e.g. parliamentary sovereignty) or purpose of key body in the
question (e.g. the purpose of the supreme court if mentioned in the question)
● Outline key themes (3)
● (refer to the source for source questions - e.g., as the source states…)
● Outline your final argument
Paragraph 1/ Theme 1:
● Topic sentence - clearly state the theme
● Stronger argument/ For:- Point, Evidence and Explanation
○ Always quote or refer back to the source clearly
○ Example: relevant case study
● Link back to the question
● Weaker argument/ Against: P, E, E, L
● Overall argument/thesis (mini conclusion) & link back to the question

● REPEAT for second theme

● REPEAT for third theme
Conclusion
● Evaluate all your points to come to your conclusion & justify
● (include the extent to which you agree/disagree)
● Recent example (e.g. resignations/ recent bills/ constitutional reforms or media
outbreak)
● Predictions (e.g. potential election results/ opposition campaigns/ cabinet divisions/
resignations (e.g. bullying claims over Dominic Raab - April 2023)
