1.1 Possible coping strategies for handling stress
(a)Take some time out
-listen to music, learn relaxation techniques as well as exercising.
(b)Role management
-one more strategy of managing stress is when one avoid work overload.
One has to learn to say ‘ NO’ to too much work.
(c) Time management
- is important in managing stress. One needs to manage time effectively to
avoid pressure that to stress.
(d) Eat well balanced meals
-do not skip any meals
(e) Limit alcohol and caffeine
-alcohol aggravate and trigger panic attacks
(f) Connect with supportive people
-let your circle have people who support you
(g) Practice meditation
-finding yourself easy stress levels
(h) Sleep enough
-your body requires enough sleep, if you get less than seven to eight hours of
sleep your body wont tolerate stress.
(j) Help others
-small things that helps others will greatly help you manage your stress
level
