I am writing to you to express my concerns of noise pollution in the factory and the local
community and what I think could be done to reduce the concerns of the issue.
Noise pollution is a serious concern for the local community near the Primark factories,
because it disrupts the neighbourhood’s peace and freedom and they are unable to sleep or
relax, because of the noise pollution, so this is the reason why the residents in the local
community have to leave the home and find another home, which can be much more costly
than their current home.
So I recommend that you take further action to minimise noise pollution by introducing a
new machinery equipment, that has less noise and is much more advanced , so that the
operation of the factories can be more productive and efficient and my final request regarding
this issue, is I kindly recommend to Primark Head office to change the number of hours
working, because this would be helpful for the workers to be flexible and have a good
lifestyle, by working a minimum of eight hours per 5 day.
This should be done so that the neighbourhood community won’t be distracted and this
would enable the workers to be more motivated and active. So it does not affect their health
condition another good reason is by restricting the hours of the factories, it would be helpful
of reducing the pollution and waste, this could be an alternative method to be more ethical
business.
Finally, if you improve this the residents would not move out and would still purchase the
products in your business and will be more loyal to your company if you take necessary
actions to minimise noise pollution.
